DV46T

The DV46T is an ultra-high performance carbon tubular wheelset designed to meet the demands of today’s ultra-competitive cyclist. It features unidirectional carbon construction with a deep-v rim for exceptional lateral stiffness and strength, with an aggressive aerodynamic silhouette. The 46mm rim actually balances improved crosswind stability with maximum velocity, whether you are riding tempo in a paceline, or off the front on a solo break.

Initial view of the wheel is that IT SUCKS!
Thatz because of its extremely tight bearings from the DT240 hubs, resulting in a very draggy wheel.
But after the initial break in period.. these wheels can fly..

    Pros:
-Weight at 1.3kg, it makes climbing seem so much easier..
-Full carbon high profile rims can make almost any bike look good!
-Somehow, the wheel feel “soft”. But after a couple of rides.. u will sort of like the feeling it gives..

    Cons:
-Wheels probably more powerful than the rider
-Can be a hazard in extreme cross winds.. Light rim + 46mm rim height in heavy cross winds can make handling tricky..
-Wet weather braking sux big time, due to carbon braking surface

I bought a used DV Stratus (similar profile and weight to current model) and my impression was GOOD wheel!
The spin up was freaking fast. Makes me feel like I can sprint faster.

These wheels make a BIG difference in how the whole bike feels. It makes the bike feel very responsive.

Rims are super durable. So far, didn’t hear of any rims cracking up. Good enough for racing and strong enough for everyday ride.

Stiffness and comfort are usually mutually exclusive. IMO, Reynolds did a great job balancing the 2. Although not the stiffest, this wheel gives stiff enough and also a comfortable ride.

Carbon braking is ok during dry weather but sucky during wet, but which carbon wheel doesn’t?
