DR once again showed our support for the OCBC safe cycling campaign by throw away our jerseys on 17 Dec 2011.

That day, everyone put on the free safe cycling 1.5m matters jersey from OCBC.

Thank you OCBC!!

We will definitely be there for the OCBC race as well

Cyclone series ITT and RR

4 super heroes, Denny, Yang, Vincent and Steven took part in the Cyclone series individual time trial cum road race this time round.

Denny took part in the ITT, while the 3 real heroes took part in both events..

Denny: i cannot hear anything wearing this…

And he is off!

Steven J.: DR’s strongest climber, first time racing in sg..

Boss Kyne: thinking why he did not enter, since he is DR’s reigning TT champ of 2010 and 2011

Yang: u all come so late.. i already changed my wheel and helmet..

Cameron trip 2011!

DR went to Cameron Highlands and Fraser hill!

And this time, with 16 riders!!

We rode 80km up Cameron, only 10km down Cameron due to bad weather, followed by a 3rd day of down and up fraser hill..

We could not even see 30m beyond us! Epic weather..

Ultra runner Alvin broke is stem.. and while fixing, we found white power (sweat crystals) inside..

Even pro mechanic Steven is disgusted :P

It was a great trip, with lots of delicious food, with great company..

For this time, we chose to have one 1 bus support vehicle..

Thanks God, for Denny’s parent who went along, and become the all time no 1 support crew..

Both of them were driving up and down, providing the group with the greatly needed isotonic drinks..

*A great big thank you to you both!!*

Next time, we will plan to have a 2nd vehicle for water support..

For the next one, hopefully can get hit more than 20

Last week, Alvin, aka Po, aka short took part in the sundown ultra marathon race.

And of course DR was there to support him and to provide him with water.

Alvin did us proud by finishing 100km in almost 12.5hr..

After MIA for nearly 6months preparing for this run.. its time to be back on the bike again..

ALVIN! u better ride every week from now on!!!

It will be a long night…

But Alvin is READY!!

How says DR is all ride but no play?

Maybe we are playing too much and not riding enough

Thanks to Sir Jimi, we had our BBQ last week.. with PLENTY of delicious food!!

Sir Jimi sacrificed his Monday,Thurday and Friday preparing the great feast which was fit for a king..

Drinks were abit late and alcohol was plenty.. but riders dun really drink that much..

So next time maybe more drinks? We are thirsty people..

They were cooking, cooking.. and COOOKING!!!!

The BBQ pit that looks like some legendary furnace for a wuxia show.. no wonder the food tastes so good!

DR showed their support this year by entering the OCBC 2011 again this yr..

Overall this yr, it was better organised and starting slightly later than last yr was better decision..

At least we can see where we were riding this time..

DR CYN dinner 2011

As part of the DR CNY tradition, we spend an evening together during CYN for dinner at LiBai resturant.

It was a day most of us remembered as the “worst traffic jammed in SG day”.

Dinner was supposed to be a 7pm, but most of us arrived at 8pm!!

The few of them who traveled by AYE were crawling on the expressways at 10km/hr!

One of those days when traveling by bike is faster than traveling by car >.<
